Memorial Day Service

Area transit providers will observe the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 27.

RideKC routes operated by KCATA will use Sunday/Holiday schedules on Memorial Day. The Regional Call Center, administrative offices and Customer Service Lobby will be closed. Reservations for RideKC Freedom paratransit can be made from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and paratransit service will be provided in eligible areas. RideKC Freedom On-Demand will offer service, although it may be limited with longer wait times due to the holiday. Regular weekday service resumes Tuesday, May 30.

KC Streetcar will operate from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday.

RideKC routes in Johnson County will not offer service on Memorial Day. RideKC Freedom/SWIFT paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed. Regular RideKC bus, Micro Transit and Freedom service resumes Tuesday, May 30.

RideKC routes in Wyandotte County operated by Unified Government Transit will not offer service on Memorial Day. Routes in KCK operated by KCATA will run Holiday/Sunday schedules. Unified Government RideKC Freedom paratransit will not provide trips, and dispatch and the administrative offices will also be closed. Regular weekday service will resume Tuesday, May 30.
