Due to continued construction in the 75th Street and Wornall area, bus stop locations have been temporarily moved.

Buses will reroute near T-Mobile Center for select events. 

The 510 K-10 Connector, that operates between Overland Park, KS and Lawrence, KS, resumes regular service on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. During regular service, the route will operate every 30 minutes during peak hours and every hour during middays. The 510 K-10 Connector serves The University of Kansas via Central Station, KU Edwards Campus and Johnson County Community College. Central Station is the only stop in Lawrence for the 510 K-10 Connector.

Beginning Sunday, January 5, to improve on time performance, minor changes will come to the schedules of the Prospect MAX, 47 Broadway, and the 35 35th Street. Updated schedules for the routes can be viewed below.

Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21, from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. the 85 Paseo and 201 North Oak will reroute for the Hallmark Christmas Experience.

The 510 K-10 Connector, that operates between Overland Park, KS and Lawrence, KS, will begin break service on December 23, 2024. Break service is specified on the 510 K-10 Connector schedule and includes the summer term, school breaks, and holidays. The 510 K-10 Connector serves The University of Kansas via Central Station, KU Edwards Campus and Johnson County Community College. Central Station is the only stop in Lawrence for the 510 K-10 Connector.

The 487 87th Street route, that operates between the Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, KS, and the Mission Transit Center (MTC) in Mission, KS, via downtown Overland Park, KS and Prairie Village, KS, will operate on an improved schedule beginning January 1, 2025.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2025, the City of Independence plans to eliminate several RideKC routes due to budget limitations. Changes to RideKC Freedom (paratransit) fares in Independence will also occur effective Jan. 1.

Due to a technical issue, real time bus tracking is not currently available in Google Maps. The KCATA is working to resolve the issue, and updates will be provided as they become available.

Beginning Monday, November 4, 2024, the bus stops along Marty Street that serve the Overland Park Farmers' Market will be indefinitely closed and relocated.
